Our party has always welcomed those who participated in the anti-Japanese revolution with the greatest enthusiasm. However, there are important leaders such as Chairman Mao in Yan'an, so the review is also extremely strict.

According to Shen Hui's application, Zhou Xing immediately launched a secret investigation, but nothing suspicious was found. During the many interviews with Shen Hui, Zhou Xing did not notice anything wrong.

In this way, Shen Hui was arranged to receive education at the Anti-Japanese University. However, the investigation on Shen Hui was not over, it just changed to another form.

In order to find out the KMT’s secret agents as much as possible, the following scene often appeared in the classroom of the Anti-Japanese University:

After various investigations, Shen Hui's suspicion was finally ruled out, and he was recognized in dangerous missions again and again, becoming an important staff member who could get close to Chairman Mao.

In fact, this is Shen Hui's ultimate goal. His goal in coming to Yan'an is to assassinate important figures such as Chairman Mao. His real name is not Shen Hui, but Shen Zhiyue. 2. Shen Hui's true identity

Shen Zhiyue was born in a relatively wealthy family and received various advanced education since childhood. When he was less than 20 years old, Shen Zhiyue had already completed his studies in famous schools such as Fudan, and had come into contact with many Communists.

Under the influence of Marxism, Shen Zhiyue became the leader of the labor movement and led the workers to hold various activities many times. It is a pity that the Kuomintang at that time was very hostile to the Communist Party, and Shen Zhiyue was also arrested and imprisoned.

As we all know, members of our party who fall into the hands of the Kuomintang usually do not end well, ranging from pain all over the body, to life in severe cases. However, Shen Zhiyue was an exception.

The comrades who were arrested and imprisoned in the same period were already covered with bruises, and Shen Zhiyue had no scars except for a little listlessness.

It turned out that Shen Zhiyue had categorically described himself as a relative of a high-ranking KMT official. Under normal circumstances, no one would dare to tell such a lie, so they believed Shen Zhiyue's identity, and did not even dare to show any disrespect to him.

Of course, this kind of lie didn't last long. When his true identity was revealed, the secret agents who had respected him were full of anger and vowed to torture him more cruelly.

Unexpectedly, Dai Li heard about Shen Zhiyue's "heroic deeds", firmly believed that he was a spy genius, and talked with Shen Zhiyue many times, hoping that he could work for the Kuomintang.

At first, Shen Zhiyue dismissed Dai Li's temptation, but as Dai Li's conditions became higher and higher, Shen Zhiyue finally lost to the temptation of fame and fortune, and became an agent of the Kuomintang, or the kind of agent who accepted Dai Li's single-line leadership.

3. Disclosure of identity

One day in 1938, Zhou Xing (the person who investigated Shen Hui's identity) at the security office received reports from the people that there was a monk with strange behavior in a nearby temple who molested good women all day long.

As soon as Zhou Xing heard this abnormal situation, he immediately realized that the monk was most likely a spy, so he quickly brought someone to arrest and interrogate him.

As expected, the monk directly admitted that he was a Kuomintang agent and was here to inquire about information. More importantly, there is already an outstanding Kuomintang agent lurking inside our party.

In order to find out this spy, Zhou Xing checked everyone's information, but he had no clue at all, so he could only report it to Chairman Mao and others, so that everyone could be on guard.

In fact, the outstanding spy that the monk said was Shen Zhiyue, and he had gained deep trust at this time. But why was his plan not carried out? Firstly, for the sake of safety, the protection of the leaders was strengthened; on the other hand, Shen Zhiyue was deep-minded and belonged to a strategic spy, so he was unable to act.

But in order to have the opportunity to get closer to Chairman Mao and other leaders, he carried the chairman's favorite cigarette with him. It happened that one day the chairman's cigarettes ran out, and Shen Zhiyue had the opportunity to give the cigarettes to Chairman Mao.

It's just that when he lit a cigarette for himself, Chairman Mao suddenly found that his smoking posture was weird, obviously he didn't know how to smoke. A person who doesn't know how to smoke carries the cigarettes he likes with him and forces himself to smoke. It can be seen that this person is extremely wealthy and must have some purpose in his heart.

However, Chairman Mao has no conclusive evidence to prove that Shen Zhiyue is a spy. Although he is confident in his heart, he cannot arrest him and can only transfer him away from his side.

However, according to Shen Zhiyue’s later interviews, the exposure of his offline personnel in 1941 exposed him, and he had no choice but to return to Chongqing. In Chongqing, Shen Zhiyue was even summoned by Chiang Kai-shek alone and entrusted with important tasks by Dai Li.

The major case in March 1950 confirmed Shen Zhiyue's position in the KMT and in the hearts of Jiang's father and son in the future. After the Kuomintang retreated to Taiwan at that time, Zhu Feng waited for the opportunity to go to Shanghai with various defense maps including Taiwan. But the news was not confidential, and Shen Zhiyue's subordinates learned that Zhu Feng was "arrested" after searching. With this great achievement, Shen Zhiyue's status is unquestionable; what is more humane is that he also brought photos of Chiang Kai-shek's hometown. On the one hand, when he was on the other side, he had interrogated various major cases, and he was an extremely high-ranking official; but on the other hand, he was able to escape unscathed after failing in his mission in Macau, and even went to Beijing for treatment after suffering from cancer. The secrets about Shen Zhiyue can be said to be confusing. What kind of identity he is, can only be left to be released after more information is released. But from the side, we can also see the bloody wind on the hidden front outside the frontal battlefield.

或许是为了拉近关系，亦或者是为了打消疑虑，在为毛主席点燃香烟后，沈辉为自己也点上一支。可正是这个行为令毛主席大感震惊，不由得对沈辉的真实身份也产生怀疑。
为了安全起见，毛主席将沈辉调离身边，调离延安，避免了日后更大的损失。

沈辉究竟是什么身份，毛主席又为何断定他是可疑之人？这一切，还要从他潜入延安说起。
一、成功进入抗大
在萧致平访问延安期间，沈辉以助手身份共同游览了延安的抗日风光。不过当萧致平即将离开之际，沈辉却以参加革命为理由，坚决要求留在延安。

对于参加抗日革命之人，我党一直用最大的热情欢迎。不过延安有毛主席等重要领导人，所以在审核方面也是极其严格的。
根据沈辉提出的申请，周兴随即开展了秘密调查，不过没有查出什么可疑之处。在与沈辉的多次问话中，周兴也没有察觉到任何不妥之处。

就这样，沈辉被安排到抗大接受教育。不过对于沈辉的调查却并没有结束，只是换了一种形式。
为了尽可能找出国民党的特务，抗大的课堂上经常出现这样一幕：
有人突然大喊一声“他就是特务”，同时将手指向另一个方向。
若真的是特务，在碰到这种突发情况下多少会露出马脚，我党就可以进行下一步排查。不过当沈辉碰到这种情况后，依旧面色冷静，丝毫没有表现出异常。而这也显示出了他的过人之处。
在经过各种各样的调查后，沈辉的嫌疑最终被排除，并在一次次危险任务中获得认可，成为能够接近毛主席的重要工作人员。

实际上这正是沈辉的最终目的，他来延安的目标就是刺杀毛主席等重要人物。他的本名也不叫沈辉，而是沈之岳。
二、沈辉的真实身份
沈之岳出生时家庭相对富足，从小就接受过各种先进的教育。不到20岁时，沈之岳已经在复旦等名校完成学业，并接触到许多共产党人。
在马克思主义的影响下，沈之岳成为工人运动的领导者，多次带领工人举行各种活动。可惜那时的国民党十分敌视共产党，沈之岳也被捕入狱。
众所周知，落在国民党手上的我党人士通常没有好下场，轻则浑身伤痛，重则性命不保。然而沈之岳却是一个例外。

同期被捕入狱的战友们已经遍体鳞伤，沈之岳除了精神有些萎靡之外，没有一丝伤痕。
原来沈之岳言辞凿凿地将自己说成是国民党高官的亲属，通常情况下没人敢撒这种谎言，也就相信了沈之岳的身份，甚至不敢对他有任何不敬。
当然这种谎言没有持续多久，当他真实身份暴露后，曾经对他尊敬有加的特务们充满愤怒，誓言对他进行更残酷的严刑拷打。
谁知戴笠听人说了沈之岳的“英勇事迹”，坚定地认为他是一个特务天才，多次与沈之岳进行谈话，希望他能够为国民党做事。

起初沈之岳对戴笠给出的诱惑不屑一顾，可随着戴笠的条件越来越高，沈之岳最终败给了名利诱惑，成为国民党的特工，还是那种接受戴笠单线领导的特工。
后来潜入延安并接触到毛主席，都是受到戴笠的指示，想要找到合适时机行刺，引起党内大乱。为了能够保护沈之岳的安全，戴笠为他伪造了天衣无缝的身份，这才躲过我党的多次调查。
可任谁都没想到的是，这个看似完美的计划，却因为沈之岳的抽烟而暴露。

三、身份败露
1938年的一天，保卫处周兴（调查沈辉身份的人）接到百姓的反映，附近一座寺庙内有一个行为举止怪异的和尚，整日调戏良家妇女。
周兴一听这个反常的情况，立马意识到这个和尚极有可能是特务，赶紧带人将其抓捕审问。
果然不出所料，和尚直接承认自己是国民党特务，在此打听情报。更重要的是，已经有一位国民党出色特务潜伏在我党内部。
为了找出这名特务，周兴排查了所有人的资料，结果一点头绪都没有，只能上报给毛主席等人，让大家有个防备。

事实上，和尚口中的出色特务就是沈之岳，此时的他已经得到了很深的信任。但为什么他的计划没有实施呢？一来是为了安全起见，加强了对领导人的保卫工作；另一方面则是沈之岳心思深沉，属于战略特务，这才没能行动。
但为了能够有机会与毛主席等领导人多接近一些，他随身携带着主席最爱的烟。恰巧有一天主席的烟抽完了，沈之岳才有机会将烟送给毛主席。
只不过当他为自己点上烟后，毛主席突然发现他的抽烟姿势怪异，明显是不会抽烟。不会抽烟的人却随身带着自己喜欢的烟，还要强迫自己抽烟，可见这个人城府极深，心中一定有什么目的。
不过毛主席也没有确凿的证据证明沈之岳是特务，虽然内心笃定，却无法对其实施抓捕，也只能将其调离自己身边。

离开毛主席后，沈之岳也十分不解，为什么突然就将自己调离了，难道是身份暴露了？这些也成了沈之岳心中疑惑的点。此后毛主席将他派遣到了位于江浙一带的新四军中。
不过虽然没有完成刺杀任务，但沈之岳在国民党中的地位也步步攀升。而在新四军中为国民党提供了许多情报，造成了极大的人员损失，据对面说法皖南事变便是因沈之岳泄密造成（这也是事后论）。但不得不说的是，即便是此时沈之岳仍未留下确凿证据。
不过据沈之岳日后采访时透露，1941年时他的线下人员暴露让他暴露，让不得不选择回到重庆。在重庆，沈之岳甚至还受到了蒋介石的单独召见，并被戴笠委以重任。
而在1950年3月的大案，则更是确定了日后沈之岳在国民党、在蒋家父子心中的地位。就彼时的国民党败退台湾后，朱枫携带包括各种台湾的防御图伺机到上海。但消息不密，被沈之岳所辖下得知，在搜索后朱枫“落网”。有了这件大功，沈之岳的地位毋庸置疑；更通晓人性的是，他还给蒋介石带去过故乡的照片。可以说深谙人性，让沈之岳也最终成为了心腹特工，期间还被委任多次刺探。

但令人诧异的是，对其“真实身份”的判断上，却是扑朔迷离的。一方面他在对岸时，审问过各种大案，位极人臣；可另一方面，他却能在澳门任务失败后全身而退，更还能在在患癌后前往北京治疗，甚至期间还获得了张爱萍将军的照顾，邓小平的接见。就连张爱萍的评语都让人倍感意味深长：（沈之岳）智勇双全，治国有方，一事二主，两边无伤。
关于沈之岳身上的秘密，可以说扑朔迷离。他到底是何种身份，也只能留待更多资料公开。但从侧面中，我们也能看到正面战场之外的隐蔽战线的血雨腥风。
