慢慢我们和周某也就闲聊起来了，周某可以说是一个家庭出身凄苦的可怜人，出生在宜春某县农村，家里兄弟姊妹众多，父母都是地道农民，父亲在他小时就在一次农闲在小煤窑打工时出事故而死，他是家里老大，小学没读完就辍学在家帮忙田地里干活，大了就外出打工，什么脏活、累活、苦活都干，只要能挣上钱，挣的钱自己也不敢多花，都要寄回家养自己弟妹。后来在和他村子老乡在建筑工地打工时，老乡拉他入伙去偷工地上钢筋，他先不同意，后来工地老板拖欠他们包工头工程款，包工头撑不下去跑路了，包工头拖欠他大半年的工资他也找不到地方要，他心一横就加入他老乡一伙半夜到各个工地去偷钢筋，没想到运气太差，没偷到两回就被逮住了，然后判刑坐牢。出来后，家里人也不待见他，在外面打工一听说盗窃坐牢出来的，都不敢要，敢要的也把他工钱压的低低的。这时他的狱友找到他，邀他一起做扒手，他对我们说他当时做的活不但赚不到什么钱而且风险高对身体伤害又大，当扒手虽然有被抓风险但起码运气好能搞到钱啊，所以想通了他就跟他狱友一起练手艺做起扒手来。当然他运气很差，没做多久就又被抓了，又是判刑坐牢。后来他索性破罐子破摔，出狱后也不回家了，直接找到以前同伙或邀约新认识的狱友一起做扒手或靠那种四处闲逛寻找机会顺手牵羊的手段搞钱过活，他的生活状态就是四处流浪，居无定所。

我不得不说是不是他运气太差了，每回出来没过一年半载就又被抓了，而他身边的同伙总能逃脱，他整个成年的人生在监狱的时光绝对要多过在外面的日子，唉，他说他也习惯了，说这就是他的命吧，他也不想反抗了，就这样过一天算一天吧。我问他清不清楚这回被抓可能要判多少年，他说清楚十年起步逃不脱的，我问他是怎么想的，他说虽然监狱的日子确实不好受，但在外面的日子也强不到哪里去，这段日子过了下有钱人的生活，而且特别是抢了那个狱警让他们这伙人特别爽，之前他们在监狱里被这些狱警呼来斥去，根本就没有把他们当人看，没想到能被他们逮到机会出了口气，也算值了。（这伙人打交道最多的就是狱警，没想到能让他们选择作案目标时碰到一个狱警，你们说巧不巧？）

案子告破后，肯定要大肆宣传一番，当时自媒体还没出来，还是以传统的报纸方式进行宣传，这篇破案报道被登载我市日报和晚报上，没想到却因此惹来麻烦。首先是那个女受害人找到我们，说报纸登出来后，她亲戚朋友一读就知道是她（虽然做了基本隐私处理，但毕竟地方小，周围认识的人一猜就猜出来了），关键是报道上写的标题太惹人眼球（我记得标题内容是”银行行长和漂亮女客户半夜在车上密谈业务”），让人遐想连篇，我说我们给记者的底稿是很实事求是的，哪晓得记者非要大肆渲染以这做标题。这个女受害人刚走，接着那个国企领导受害人的老婆又跑过来扯皮，同样是因为报道标题的事，我记得这个标题内容是“国企领导和学生小老乡深夜在车上畅谈人生理想”，记者为了博人眼球，什么法子都用尽了。他老婆说，你们这是怎么样报道的，周围的人一看报道还以为我老公是同性恋了，是不是同性恋我不清楚吗？宣传破案就宣传破案拿这做吸引人眼球的东西，下贱不下贱，一顿喋喋咻咻，骂完就走了。唉，我们给记者的底稿确实基于事实而写是没有什么非分之词的，记者拟的标题也是符合事实的，但为什么能让看到的人遐想连篇呢？看来性是人类生活永远最吸引人的话题，这句话实不为过。

这种暴力性犯罪刑事案件在我以后的刑警生涯中就几乎再没碰到了，因为人都变聪明了，求财就是求财，犯不着背上这么重罪名的风险。
